Lifetime Membership criteria

 

Every organization has a few members that do more than their share of work for the group and this effort allows the rest of the members to really benefit from their effort.  We are referring to folks that do things like:  participate regularly, pay dues regularly, help with equipment set-up and take-down, and serve as an officer for a significant period.  Another possible way to qualify for a Lifetime Membership nomination would be to make a significant contribution to the club.  This could be in the form of financial or equipment donation.  This award is to honor members those individuals that have helped the club continue and flourish. 

 

At the March 14, 2011 league meeting a motion was made to establish a ‘Lifetime Membership’ award was offered by Dale Goff seconded by Ryan Robinson. Discussion ensued.  At that time it was tabled by Ryan Robinson until this week’s league meeting.  The purpose of tabling was to give adequate time for all to review the particulars. (As posted on the website).

 

  1. A vote was conducted to approve the creation of the ‘Lifetime Membership Award’.  The vote passed unanimously.
  2. The nomination committee will present a list of candidates for membership approval at the next league session.

 

Other Business…

 

  1. The end of the season league tournament will be held on April 11th & April 18th.  Participants will be required to register not later than April 4th.  Tournament particulars will be posted on the website.

 

  1. The CTTC end of the season banquet will be held on Monday April 27, 2011 at the Golden Coral in Crosslanes, WV.  Starting at 6:30 pm. 

 

  1. During the Mondays in May a Handicap Tournament will be held.  Details will be offered following the End of Season tournament.
