WV State Table Tennis Champion 2011 - 2012

A Open Division Table Tennis Tournament was held to determine this years top competitor in the state of West Virginia.  The field of 10 participants, with ratings greater than 1400, were assembled and competed in a round robin format of play,  advancing 4 finalist to vie for the coveted title.

The finalist included Peter Saveliev, Ron Wilkerson, Mike Corica & Alexey Domakhin.

A tight fought battle between three of the competitors as they each successfully captured 2 match victories in the final round. This score room had to utilize the next tie breaking criteria, Highest Percentage of Winning Games, to make the final determination.    The results were as follows...       

Ron Wilkerson 0.45 games win to loss ratio
Mike Corica 0.67 games win to loss ratio
Alexey Domakhin 0.72 games win to loss ratio

This year West Virginia State Table Tennis Champion 2012 

is Alexey Domakhin, playing out of the Beckley area hailing form Daniels, WV.
